Assistant Custodian (part-time, 24-28 hours per week, includes Sundays)

The Assistant Custodian works with our Facility Manager to ensure the building and grounds are safe and inviting to those who enter the church.  

Primary Responsibilities include, but not limited:

1. Clean, straighten, dust, vacuum the sanctuary, chapel, fellowhsip hall and all other rooms in the building.

2. Clean and sanitize all restrooms located throughout the building.

3. Mopping floors, cleaning windows, doors, stairs and handrails. 

4. Gather and remove garbage and recycling materials as needed.

5. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen before and after each use.

6. Setting up and organizing rooms for use by various groups throughout the week.

7. Assist Faciliity Manager with snow removal when necessary.

Director of Youth Ministries (part-time, 12-16 hours per week)

The Director of Youth ministries leads 6th grade thru 12th grade students to Love God and Love Others in a Christian commuity, empowering them to grow as Christian disciples and equipping them to live their faith boldly in the world with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited:

1. Work with our Discipleship Ministries Team to create programming for Jr & Sr High youth all year long.

2. Strategically plan, set goals and shape budget requests for these designated areas of ministry.

3. Be the visionary, planner and leader of the youth ministries for those in 6th thru 12th grade.

4. Ensure adherence to the Fargo First United Methodist Church's Safe Sanctuary Policies.

5. Be present, seen and available to our volunteers, parents, & youth on Sundays during regular worship hours and on Wednesdays for programming and mission.
