Miranda Olson, Traditional Worship & Music Director - email

I was born and raised in Lisbon, ND as the youngest of 3 daughters. I started
singing and making music with my family in church as a young child and continued
throughout school. After graduating in 1997, I attended Valley City State
University to study Music and Theatre, but mainly worked on my goal of being
a professional Tuba player. I earned great experience playing in Valley
City including my time spent with the Sheyenne Brass quintet.
In the summer of 1999, while working on a Community Theatre production of
"A Midsummer Nights' Dream", I met fellow actor and newspaper
editor, Cal Olson. We were married the following year and made our home
in Mankato, MN. In 2004, after a stopover in Sioux Falls, SD, we finally
came back to North Dakota where we hope to stay for a long, long time. Cal
works as a field technician for Cable One, and I work as a phlebotomist
at Innovis Health in Fargo. We are the proud parents of a beautiful orange
tabby cat named Krusty.
As the Traditional Worship Director and Sanctuary Choir Director, I have
brought my love of music back into my life. To combine working with others
and music in worship allows me to give back to the church like my Mom taught
me to do as a child.
